ऑप्ट-आउट/छूट

यदि आप छात्र स्वास्थ्य बीमा योजना नहीं चाहते हैं, तो आपको छूट प्रस्तुत करके कवरेज को अस्वीकार करना होगा या ऑप्ट-आउट करना होगा। आप केवल निम्नलिखित छूट अवधि के दौरान कवरेज से ऑप्ट-आउट कर सकते हैं:

बेसोले001 में नामांकित सभी छात्र स्वास्थ्य बीमा बनाए रखने और अपने कार्यक्रमों में नामांकन के प्रत्येक सेमेस्टर में कवरेज की जानकारी प्रदान करने के लिए जिम्मेदार हैं।

बेसोले002 में नामांकित सभी छात्र जो छात्र स्वास्थ्य बीमा योजना (SHIP) से बाहर निकलना चाहते हैं, उन्हें बेसोले001 छूट प्रणाली के माध्यम से वैकल्पिक कवरेज की जानकारी जमा करनी होगी। छूट के लिए अनुमोदन प्राप्त करने हेतु, आपके वैकल्पिक स्वास्थ्य कवरेज को नीचे सूचीबद्ध आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करना होगा और समय सीमा से पहले प्रमाणिक दस्तावेज़ों के साथ जमा करना होगा।

Please review the requirements below prior to submitting your waiver request.

1. Plan must be fully compliant with the Affordable Care Act (ACA):

• • Provide the Essential Minimum Benefits required by the ACA with no annual limits. A list of the Essential Minimum Benefits can be found here:https://www.healthcare.gov/glossary/essential-health-benefits/
  • Contain no exclusions for pre-existing conditions.
  • Covers 100% of Preventive Care as defined by the ACA. A list of these preventive services can be found here:https://www.healthcare.gov/coverage/preventive-care-benefits/.

2. Coverage must be effective on or before August 1, 2026.
3. Coverage must extend through the semester including breaks and holidays.
4. Alternate insurance must provide full benefits in the state of South Carolina.

 In addition, International Students:

5. Proof of Repatriation and medical evacuation expenses in the combined amount of no less than $50,000. If the health plan does not include medical evacuation and repatriation, a rider must be purchased providing coverage at equal limits to the SHIP.

NOTE: The following plan(s) will NOT be acceptable for waiver approval for Domestic and International waiver submissions:

• Healthcare Sharing Plans are not accepted.
• Short-term coverage plans are not accepted.
• Financial Assistance plans are not accepted.
• Travel plans or plans that require you to pay for treatment yourself and then apply for reimbursement are not accepted.
